Kwesi Appiah gives GFA ultimatum to settle bonuses

Former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has given the Ghana FA a one week ultimatum to settle all bonuses and allowances.

Starr FM Sports can exclusively reveal that Appiah’s lawyers have written to the football governing body to settle all debt owed their client or risk being dragged to FIFA.

The 54-year-old, who led the four-time African champions to the 2014 World Cup, has not been paid the allowances for the matches against Uganda and Togo as well as the winning bonus for the game against the Sparrow Hawks.

The Black Stars managed a 3-2 win over their eastern neighbours last month in a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Lome.

The Ghana FA severed ties with the coach last month after a two-year reign but is yet to pay the outstanding bonuses and allowances.
