NPP stalwart to curse chiefs over Mahama car gifts

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Richard Nyamah, has waded into the controversy surrounding the 13-pick-up vehicles presented to the National House of Chiefs.

He has threatened to curse any chief who would sit in the vehicle presented to them by President John Dramani Mahama.

According to Mr. Nyamah, if the chiefs really love this country, then they should be bold to return the vehicles to the President and tell him that it is not a priority.

Mr. Nyamah said the money spent on the vehicles could have been channelled into other ventures that would help the country.

He revealed that the government owes so many statutory payments which it has refused to pay, grinding the country to a halt.

He warned that the only option left for him if the chiefs do not return the vehicles is to curse them.

“If the chiefs think they love this country, then they should return the vehicles to the President that they do not need the vehicles, but if they refuse then I will curse any chief who sits in the vehicle. What happened to the V8 vehicles given to the same House of Chiefs in 2012?” He asked.
