We had a very good test – Appiah

Black Stars head coach Kwasi Appiah has praised Turkey for given his side the adequate preparation needed for next month’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

He told Turkish journalists after Turkey’s 2-2 draw with Ghana that Turkey played a good game.

"Turkey is a very good team. It was a good preparation match before the World Cup qualifier against Zambia. This game is one we've been waiting for. It was a good test,” he added.

Appiah described Turkey as an organized team, adding that the Turks dominated the first half.

"It is a very organized Turkish national team squad. The first half was very good for them; very positive. We had to fight back in the second half.”
