GCEEI to organise workshop on entrepreneurship

The Ghana Centre for Entrepreneurship, Employment and Innovation (GCEEI) will on Saturday hold a day's workshop to help grow start-up businesses in Africa.

A statement signed by John Armah, Executive Director of GCEEI and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Thursday, said the programme would be attended by a large representation from Ghana’s leading financial houses and youth oriented financing schemes to take participants through training to enable them meet the global demands while creating products to solve basic needs.

It said the programme would help introduce small and medium scale enterprises, start-ups, entrepreneurs, graduates and the youth to modules on business financing, how to be an entrepreneur and combine technology and business to drive sales and Increase revenue.

The statement said funding is a major challenge to Ghanaian youth entrepreneurs and start-ups, and participants can get instant funding and be featured on start-upnews.com and get on-the-spot business advice for free.
