God has disgraced Justice Kpegah and the NDC – Sir John

General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie aka ‘Sir John,’ has stated that Justice Kpegah has been disgraced, not just by the Supreme Court, but by God for his pointless suit against the 2012 presidential candidate of the NPP.

According to Sir John who tagged Justice Kpegah as an NDC man, Nana Addo’s credibility as a lawyer is known worldwide so a person like Justice Kpegah cannot raise an objection to Nana Addo’s profession.

“We all know Nana Akufo-Addo is a lawyer, so not Kpegah or the NDC can challenge that. He is a very outstanding lawyer so no one can challenge that. The NDC is behind Kpegah’s Nana Addo court case, but God has confirmed that there is nothing that can be done against Nana Addo.

“…We thank God for, and the Judge for dismissing the case. I asked Asiedu Nketia whether he has heard from Justice Kpegah after Thursday’s court hearing, but he couldn’t say anything. They (Kpegah and the NDC) are ashamed now,” he said.

A High Court in Accra has dismissed a lawsuit filed by a former Justice of the Supreme Court, Francis Yaonasu Kpegah against the main opposition New Patriotic Party’s 2012 Presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Justice Kpegah, a former Supreme Court judge, filed a lawsuit on March 19, 2013, accusing the presidential candidate of the NPP of impersonation and holding himself out as a lawyer, when the evidence available to him proves otherwise.

The court, presided over by Justice Cecelia Sowah dismissed the case, describing it as frivolous.
