Global Media Alliance wins excellence award

Global Media Alliance (GMA) has been adjudged the PR Consultancy of the Year at the Public Relations Excellence Awards and Presidential Ball held in Accra.

The event was organized by the Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana as part of its activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Institute.

Reading the citation for the award, Mr. Henry Nii Dottey, Honorary Secretary of the Institute noted “The company’s invaluable contribution to the recognition of the value of Public Relations for businesses, coupled with its delivery of innovative public relations counsel and services to local and international companies to grow their business”, led to the winning the award.

Receiving the award, the Head of Corporate Communications at GMA, Rosemond Aryeetey expressed her gratitude to all employees for their hard work and dedication and great support, as well as the various clients of the company.

Mr. Edward Boateng, Executive Chairman and CEO of GMA said “It is very gratifying that our hard work all these years has been recognized and rewarded by Ghana’s only and top most Public Relations Institute. We are truly honoured and thrilled to be adjudged the best PR consultancy; this award will most definitely spur us in our vision to be the leading PR consultancy in Africa that delivers innovative solutions to local and international companies”.

GMA is affiliated to WeberShandwick, the world second largest Public Relations firm with offices in over 81 countries around the world. The company was adjudged the CIMG Media Organization 2011 in Ghana by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana.
