Talking about productivity when we don't even have standards and our public servants are not trained. We should know, as a country, that productivity comes through proper training and not just through mere education. The Brits bequeathed to us a functioning civil service college to train civil servants but our useless university graduates collapsed it and the end result is the indiscipline and chaos we see around us. Go to the UK and you will see that their own version of the civil service college(Institute of Governance) trains civil servants at all levels of their civil service. Today Britain has the most non-corrupt and nonpartisan civil service in the world. In Ghana today it is the useless universities who are doing the training and the end result is the abysmal performances we are witnessing.
