NPP is doing itself and the nation a huge disservice by the boycotts.
How can the NPPs claim to be representing their constituents if they will not go to parliament? If they will not perform their fundamental duties as MPs why should their constituents vote for them again?
During the boycott are they collecting their salaries, allowances and other benefits as MPs?
The NPP must think again and put the interest of our nation above narrow self-defeating political gimickry.

NPP law-makers are working to uproot corruption and other social vices from the Ghanaian society and other African nations will emulate the Ghanaian example. This can then set the pace for economic, political and social tranformation particularly in Ghana and Africa in general.Several sessions of parliament have come to pass and we are far worse off today than we were before independence. They never achieved anything good. The entire NPP leadership is at work and their achievements will outweigh what the NDC law-makers are fiddling with now. They are working assiduously to rid the society of corruption and other social vices which retard the development and the advancement of a nation and a continent endowed with the greatest resources on earth. They are working to liberate the nation of Ghana and the continent of Africa from poverty that has stricken us because of factors selfishly designed by our leaders to cripple 99% of the general population of the continent to wallow in abject poverty, but under 1% basking in extravagant lifestyle.Yes, they are working for the betterment of posterity!

The author is a resident in USA and I sincerely cherish the notion that he is aware of the power of boycott and civil disobedience in fighting recalcitrant governments against unpopular policies.Martin Luther King adopted these same strategies and won equal rights for the much traumatized black race in USA.African nations are notoriously saddled with corruption and mismanagement in all aspects of human life.CHINUA ACHEBE,the Nigerian Nobel Prize Winner for Literature admonished the Nigerian society against these same crippling social vices almost four decades ago in his book,"NO LONGER AT EASE."This admonition did not go down well with his people and despite their oil's massive contribution to the National Product, Nigeria is still one of the poorest nations on the face of the earth. All because of Corruption and Mal-administration condoned and connived by the society. With their oil resources Nigeria should have been in a position to assist other African nations to be on their feet but as at now they can barely crawl. NPP can turn things around for the betterment of posterity but they will have to make detrimental sacrifices and losses today for rewarding and formidable gains tomorrow.Ghana will always become Africa's pace-setters.NPP should initiate it now or never. They will be exonerated and hailed.Good courses are not always fully recognized when initiated but with perseverance and the enablement from God, good intentions are rewarded.

Very Good Article, let's wait and see. They can continue with their boycotts and if the SC ruling is in favour of the President, we shall see what next.

They will turn around to blame the government for corruption. How about if the court rules against them should they refund the paid salaries?.
