Our lack of growth intellectually can be traced to the doors of the same self appointed gatekeepers who decided which books Ghanaians should be allowed to read etc. This nonsense, coupled with the punishment, is why ghanaians are timid when it comes to cutting new paths. For example to create a simple female contraceptive, one needs to understand the woman reproductive organ in details. It means examining the vagina, clitoris, uterus etc. How can a ghanaian build a female contraceptive when he's not even allowed to talk openly about all this? We have to shirk the yoke of ignorance and stupidity that is imposed on us by myopic and ignorant people.
