  In contrast, and in Kuffuor's administration, it was merely a Tribal affair not the best brain and we were all witnesses to his obvious tribalism.

  Interpretations will be given to any appointments or any actions taken.
  Mahama is within his rights to appoint as he "deems fit", BUT he must be guided by divine wisdom to ensure there is no lopsidedness in the appointees.

  A meritocracy based on selection from any part of Ghana is the way forward!

  It is nonsense for anyone to suggest that Northerners are all round,the most qualified people in Ghana to be appointed by the president to surround him in administration of state of Ghana.The president, for political reasons ,has a duty to ensure regional representation. This requires a balancing act to ensure that various groups or tribes feel represented in the administration.It will make easy access by all to administration and not the privileged northerners exclusively.Once a president is elected,he is there to represent the entire nation and not his tribes men only.This route leads to nepotism or tribalism.The result of which practice is resentment by other ethic groups or tribes.It is this which often leads to civil strives.Indeed,the president should avoid this political mistake in making appointments to state offices.
