  GOOD ARTICLE,PART OF THE ROADS FUND MUST BE USED TO IMPORT LIFE JACKETS FOR INLAND WATER TRANSPORTATION.NO LIFE-JACKETS NO EMBANKMENT SHOULD BE THE SAFETY PRIORITY POLICY.TOO MANY PEOPLE ARE PERISHING IN OUR RIVERS.

  I think what you said here pinpoints one of our serious problems – ‘The concept that any status quo is perfect and permanent, and that one must under no circumstances raise questions, give suggestions, voice doubts or seek improvement can only produce complacency’.
  
  Some ignorant Ghanaians think the president’s job is to dress up, attend meetings, sign documents and travel abroad.
  
  This is typical of Nana. As a long time politician he has no accomplishment to talk about so all he can only get tribal and party loyalty votes that don’t add up to 50%

  If what you are suggesting is already being planned by the ministry, then what is new? By all means government should make full use of ALL Ghana's human resources but the Israeli concept is not necessarily applicable. I am sure there are many other ways in which diasporas can help and it should not always be governemnt taking the initiative.
  
  Why don't you come up with some good iinitiatives and seek support for them? And lest I forget, although yours is an open letter, would you please show some RESPECT to the president please.
