CAL Bank donates to Orphanages

CAL Bank has presented a total of GHC 14, 000 to five Orphanages in Greater Accra as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

The donation is expected to support orphanages such as SOS, Village of Hope, Teshie Orphanage, Osu Children’s Home and Orphanage International as they give children treats during the Christmas season.

Mr. Samuel Boafo, head of Human Resources for CAL Bank, speaking to Citi Fm indicated “every year, there is some kind of support that we give to the orphanages that we partner with and that is based on their needs; currently there are three people from the orphanages who are working with the bank in the various departments; Recoveries Unit, Treasury Department and the Audit Department.”

He added that, the bank has however pledged to continue supporting orphanages as part of its long term strategy and CSR responsibility.
