Research and Advocacy Platform (RAP), a pro-National Democratic Congress (NDC) group at a press conference in Accra on wednesday said failure of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer to include his Oxford University education in his Curriculum Vitae (CV) calls his integrity into question.
Convener of the group, Felix Kwakye-Ofosu, said it is clear by their information that Akufo-Addo enrolled into the Oxford University in London in the 1962/63 Academic Year but left the University under “unexplained circumstances”.
Felix Kwakye-Ofosu told Abraham Asare on Radio XYZ’s current affairs programme, What’s New, that the flagbearer of the NPP owes Ghanaians an explanation as to why he left the university at the time and why he has not included it in his resume.
According to Mr. Kwakye-Ofosu, the group has received various affirmations from people close to the NPP flagbearer that he went to the Ivy League university and is hoping that he will reveal the reason why he has failed to make known the reason why he left the school.
The group says if Nana Addo wants to lead the nation, he owes it to Ghanaians to put out every vital information about his education.
