Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has challenged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to make public within 48 hours all the schools under trees it claimed to have removed since assuming office in 2009.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) vice presidential candidate said if the NDC did not comply, its credibility will be in doubt.
He said this during his tour of the Upper West Region.
“They should publish the list of 1,700 schools under trees that they claim to have built,” Dr. Bawumia said.
“Ghanaians want to see the list district by district, school by school otherwise we will have no confidence at all in their claim that they want to build 200 senior high schools because they may be hoax schools as well,” he is reported to have said.
