Beware of Impostors - Liwin

It’s very sad how some people want to use celebrities’ name to create wealth for themselves. Such people use the social media networks like Facebook and Twitter to create accounts in the name of celebrities.

Some time back, actress Jackie Appiah came out to issue a statement that, she is neither on Facebook nor Twitter meaning any account seen on those networks are not that of the artiste’s but an impostor.

The latest to hit us this week is that of actor cum comedian Kwadwo Nkansah Liwin who is crying out loud to all his fans not to like any facebook page because he doesn’t have a fan page on facebook but a personal account.

The actor who is not happy about the situation for some time now has been writing it on his facebook wall for people to be aware of what is going on. Recently, he came out to say, “my people help me tell whoever is operating in my name on Facebook to stop. That person has created a page in my name and I am not the one, he tells people to ping him on the Blackberry with a number, publishing falsehood information just to drag my name in the mud. I am telling my fans that I’m not the one, the page has my picture with a red hat, just be careful of what he tells you. Thank you all for the support, God bless you all”.

The actor further added that his real Facebook account has about four thousand, nine hundred and ninety-four friends, with his name as Liwin, and thus, any other account is fraudster.

So that concludes the notion that Kwadwo Nkansah Liwin doesn’t have a fan page.
