Christians asked to be modest during Christmas

Kumasi, Dec 24, GNA – Monsignor Raphael Owusu Peprah, Rector of the Saint Peter’s Catholic Basilica in Kumasi, has appealed to Christians to be modest in their spending during Christmas.

He said they should not over enjoy to let the spirit of the season - self-sacrifice, love, care and service to humanity, be lost on them.

Monsignor Peprah asked Christians to emulate Jesus Christ for his love and compassion for humankind, and reflect on the significance of the occasion to renew their faith in Christ.

He wished all Ghanaians a Merry Christmas.
