Ghana's November friendlies in balance

Ghana’s proposed friendly matches against Mexico and Honduras next month is likely to be called off because of the unfavourable conditions mooted by the match organiser.
The Ghana FA (GFA) was in talks with the organisers for the Black Stars to travel to the American continent for the two matches.
The two games were scheduled to be played in Mexico City and Tegus but the long travel arrangements could affect the players who are mostly based in Europe.
MTNFootball.com also understands that the terms offered are not favourable.
The GFA will hold further meetings this week to decide whether to consider other options for mid-November.
Playing the two matches in Latin America means the Black Stars could use four days travelling which could defeat the purpose of camping for long.
Playing or camping in Europe will give them 10 days of training which could boost their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The proposed match with Mexico would be played at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
The match is likely to be played on 14 November and will start Ghana’s preparations for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars will also be seeking another friendly against Honduras two days later as Fifa has set those dates aside for international friendlies.
Fifa has set aside the middle of November for friendly fixtures so Ghana are free to organise two matches to help their preparations.
The matches will end the Black Stars’ friendlies before they begin camping for the Africa Cup of Nations late in December.
Ghana lost 2-1 to Mexico the last time both teams played each other at the Craven Cottage Stadium in London in March 2008.
Ghana's next official game will be January next year when the Africa Cup of Nations stars in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
