RE – Exposed!!!... Why Akufo-Addo Is Pushing For War

It has come to the notice of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that a publication in the
Ghanaian Lens’ a pro government newspaper of today Tuesday 25th January, seeks to
peddle falsehood and undermine the integrity of our flag bearer Nana Akufo-Addo.
The story under the above headline, quoted a vile tongued propagandist and Mills
apologist, as the one who made the ridiculous, irresponsible and infantile accusation on
an Accra radio station on Monday.

In the paper’s attempt to rationalise and further deepen the black propaganda agenda
against our flag bearer, the paper also went to absurd levels in trying to justify the
phantom lies being peddled by the National Democratic Congress, forgetting today’s date
and day, on the front page of the paper the date reads ‘Thursday, January 20th 2011, Vol
3 Issue No 101.

It will be recalled that a few days ago the same vile mouth propagandist Bernard Allotey
Jacobs alleged on Peace fm’s morning show that Nana Akufo-Addo was taken ill and had
been admitted in hospital. A call was placed to Nana and it was revealed that he was
indeed at a workshop organised by the party at East Legon.

It is clear that Mr. Allotey Jacobs has waged a propaganda war against the flag bearer
and the NPP. We in the in the NPP will not allow this to happen. The Directorate of
Communications is sounding a word of caution to the likes of Allotey Jacobs and pro NDC
newspapers like the Ghanaian Lens whose stock in trade is to peddle falsehood.
We also caution media houses whose platform is used for such activities to be mindful of
the ethics of the profession and that in spewing such malicious propaganda pieces they
risk being dragged along such personalities who have made it their deliberate agenda to
indulge in dirty politics.

The flag bearer Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP has not received and does not intend to
receive any such financial commitments from anybody or any country whatsoever.
It is our hope that this wicked lies will stop from this day forth or else we will be forced
to reply in equal and even more derogatory measure.
