Sam-Woode final dividend closure of register

Accra, July 8, GNA - Sam-Woode Limited (SWL) has announced a final dividend of GH¢0.0060 per share in respect of its financial year ended December 31, 2009 and all shareholders registered in the books of SWL at the close of business on Friday, August 6 2010 would qualify for the dividend of GH¢0.0060 per share, which would be approved at the Annual General Meet ing of the Company.

A release from the General Manager/Head of Listings, Ghana Stock Exchange on Thursday said the Register of shareholders would be closed fr om Monday, August 9 2010 to Thursday, August 12, 2010, both days inclusive. The ex-dividend date has been set as Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Consequently, an investor purchasing SWL shares before this date will be entitled to the dividend. However, and investor buying SWL shares on or after Wednesday August 4 2010 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
