TDC sets up Help Desk

Tema, June 18, GNA - The Tema Development Corporation (TDC) has set up a Complaints Desk in a bid to effectively address land issues in its catchments areas.

The desk would serve as the central point of contact for customers who have concerns related to land issues, residential, rental and commercial properties, as well as farmlands. A statement issued by Management of the TDC indicated that the desk was located at the main entrance of the Corporation's office. It said this was to minimize the visits that customers usually had to make to the Corporation over an issue and its associated complexities. It further stated that under the help desk arrangement, when a customer lodged a complaint, the help desk staff would assist the complainant to fill a simple form.

The form would then be forwarded to the right individual responsible for addressing that complaint. The statement explained that the help desk would, from then on, check in with customers on the status of their complaints until finally settled to the satisfaction of both the Corporation and their clients. For these reasons, TDC encourages its customers to patronize the help desk if they faced problems that required the Corporation's intervention.
