Accra to host job recruitment exhibition in July

Accra, May 2, GNA - Occupational Management Limited, United Kingdom international human resource consultancy, would organise job recruitment exhibition for job seekers, in Accra from 8 to 10 July this year. The event dubbed: "Brighter Futures 2010", would be held on the theme: "Developing a Skilled Workforce for Africa". It is expected to bring on board over 50 national, regional and local employers and more than 10,000 job seekers including graduates, mid-career executives, school leavers, redundant workers, students and parents.

Miss Anita Wiafe, founder of the Company, in a statement to GNA, said that instead of various recruiting organisations holding separate job fairs, the exhibition would bring together all employers and job seekers.

She said the exhibition would take job seekers through preparation of Curriculum Vitae, communication skills, interview tips, information technology, to equip them ahead of a competitive labour market. Miss. Wiafe said "Brighter Futures 2010" would allow exhibiting employers to promote their products and services, whilst recruiting directly."

She said statutory boards, government organizations, non-governmental organizations and tourism, hospitality, financial and insurance companies, mobile and technology companies are expected to feature at the event.

Miss Wiafe said on display would be latest technologies, innovative services and products solutions in human capital management. She said "Brighter Futures 2010 would also provide a platform for universities, polytechnics, industrial training institutions, commercial schools and engineers to showcase schools and training courses to individuals seeking educational courses at undergraduate, post graduate level or upgrading their current skills".

Miss Wiafe explained that a job board would be inaugurated and all participating organizations would displace job vacancies and training opportunities in the main hall.

Leading exhibitors, including Staces HR Group, Stella Group, Bioss, from South Africa, Altov Client Empowerment, and Bayflex Limited from the United Kingdom.
