Don't allow festivities to crowd out the lessons of Easter

Koforidua, April 2, GNA - The Dean of the St. Peter's Anglican Cathedral, Koforidua, the Very Reverend Father Seth Amoako-Adu, has advised Christians not to allow the many secular activities organized during Easter to undermine its religious significance. In a morning mass, he said Easter marks the period when Jesus Christ paid the highest price for mankind to have forgiveness and peace from God. He, therefore, appealed to all to use the period to sacrifice for one another for the country to enjoy peace and unity. He appealed to politicians, their followers, traditional authorities and all those involved in disputes over power and land to forgive one other for the country to have peace. Very Rev. Fr. Amoako-Adu prayed that during the season, the Lord would allow His goodwill to influence the minds and hearts of all Ghanaians for the country to continue to receive His blessings.
