Accra bourse goes down again

Accra, Sept. 16, GNA - The main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), the All-Share Index, fell for the third successive trading day on Wednesday, going down by 13.42 points at 6,464.28 points from 6,477.70 points. Change for the year closed the session at -38.03 per cent. Traded volumes were higher at 352,000 shares from 70,300 shares. On the broader market, there were eight price changes, six down and two up. Enterprise Insurance Company lost GH¢0.17 at GH¢2.30; State Insurance Company was down by GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.30; Aluworks Limited lost GH¢0.06 at GH¢0.44; Ecobank Ghana was GH¢0.02 poorer at GH¢3.10; GOIL lost GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.17 and AngloGold Ashanti Depository Shares lost GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.18.

SG-SSB gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.58 and Guinness Ghana Breweries Ghana Limited was GH¢0.02 better at GH¢1.32. Market capitalisation closed the session lower at GH¢16,038.14 from GH¢16,047.91 million. More T
