OneTouch to expand coverage by 4Q08

Vodafone-Ghana Telecom’s GT-OneTouch mobile unit will expand network coverage “about 350%” by 4Q09 in anticipation of competition from new entrants, according to local reports. The operator’s 21 transmission towers in the Volta region will be strengthened and another 63 added by year-end, Vodafone Ghana CEO David Venn was quoted as saying.
