Accra bourse Index opens the week down

Accra, Jan. 14, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the main measure of performance of the Exchange, slumped in trading on Tuesday by 37.3 points to close lower at 10,385.30 points from 10,422.60 points as the poor start to the year continues. The change year to date stands at -0.44 per cent. The only price change for the session was a loss by Ghana Commercial Bank, which shed GH¢ 0.09 to close at GH¢ 1.00. Traded volumes surged 3,575,300 from 700 with GCB selling 3,507,000. Market capitalisation was down at GH¢17,977.94 from GH¢17,889.34 from Tuesday.
