Guinness Brewery loss pulls index down

Accra, Oct. 7, GNA - The GSE-All Share Index, the benchmark measure of performance of the Accra bourse, fell sharply by 78.77 points, pulled down by GH¢0.30 loss by Guinness Ghana Brewery Limited. The index closed the session at 10,822.00 points down from 10,900.77 points on Monday.

The change year to date now stands at 63.98 per cent. Traded volumes ended the session lower at 11,000 shares from 27,500 shares.

The only price change was a loss by Guinness Ghana Brewery Limited, which shed GH¢0.30 to close at GH¢2.25. Market capitalisation ended the session lower at 18,076.63 million a fall from GH¢18,126.03 million.
