Yamoah Ponkoh mad at critics

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ejisu/Juaben in the Ashanti Region, Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh has rained curses on people who are allegedly lobbying President John Mahama to sack him.

“My detractors, whether they are witches or wizards, and all those who wish my downfall, their evil plans will come back to them,” he told Ali Baba of Kessben Fm.

Explaining further, Yamoah Ponkoh said “those who want to bury me alive, they will rather fall into their own traps and pits.”

He flatly denied reports in the Ashanti region, especially Kumasi that President Mahama had dismissed him.

The former football administrator reiterated that his enemies were peddling the falsehood.

He issued a stern warning to his subordinates at the assembly who he claimed were happy after the reports.

“My subordinates who want the president to sack me should take care because I am still at post,” the outspoken MCE for Ejisu/Juaben cautioned. Yamoah Ponkoh, who apparently taunted his detractors said, “I am still at post His Excellency the President has not sacked me.”

The controversial MCE urged his detractors to hold on with their jubilation. The Ejisu/Juaben MCE declared that he has not received any letter from the Presidency, the Ministry of Local Government and Ashanti Regional Minister to vacate his post.
