White Paper on police's conditions out soon

The President, Flt-Lt Jerry John Rawlings, at the weekend announced that the White Paper on the report of the Presidential Commission which studied the general working conditions of the Ghana POlice Service and other related issues would be published in the first quarter of next year. The Commission was established in 1995 under the chairmanship of Mr Justice Philip Archer, former Chief Justice and Member of the Council of State. The Commission, among other issues, studied the service conditions and how to re-equip the Police Service.
