Accra, June 2, GNA - The weather would be generally cloudy, with occasional slight to moderate rain over the costal belt with periodic breaks of sunshine during the day, the Meteorological Service department announced in Accra on Tuesday.

It said, the night would be dull, cloudy and cold with slight rain over the western coast.

The Department said the middle belt would be cloudy and misty this morning with showers or thunderstorms over forest and hilly areas this afternoon or tonight.

However, there is a high probability of a rainstorm affecting Brong-Ahafo and Ashanti regions this afternoon, giving rise to scattered thunderstorms or rain showers.

Northern Ghana will be variably cloudy this morning but becoming unstable in the afternoon with scattered thunderstorms especially over the upper regions.

Thereafter the night will cloudy and cold. Maximum and minimum temperatures during the forecast period were given as: coastal areas, between 29 and 24 degrees Celsius; forest and mountainous areas, between 30 and 23 degrees Celsius and Northern Ghana, between 32 and 22 degrees Celsius.
