We will approach Ghana game as final -Guinea

Franceville , Jan. 29, GNA - Guinea trainer, Michel Dussuyer says his charges will approach their final group D game with the Black Stars of Ghana at the African Cup of Nations as the competition's finals.

The Sylli Nationale sitting on second position in the group with superior goal difference over Mali must beat Ghana to gain any realistic chance of progressing to the quarters and Dussuyer says they will go for broke.

Dussuyer reckons Ghana's quality will be a massive challenge to their dream and insist fighting for all three points remains their resolve for the meet in Franceville on Wednesday.

"The game against Ghana will be like the final for us. They are a very good side and their track record during the Cup of Nations and the World Cup is there to show.

"They are not only tournament favourites but also, they have very good players to trouble any team and we have a lot of respect for them".

Dussuyer said the team will come fighting for that crucial win. "We will have to increase our set up and speed against Ghana and we have to condition ourselves for the challenge".

"We know that high level team's are going out of the tournament and we do not wish to be one of the casualties. For this reason,we are committed to fighting all the way". He added

"We must beat Ghana at all cost and we know that cannont be compromised".

The last time both team's met was during the Ghana 2008 Nations Cup opener where Ghana won 2-1.

Ghana requires at least a draw to authenticate their place in the last eight.
