Volta Lake Underwater Timber Harvesting By Triton Begins

Apparently the Volta lake has millions of fully matured timber resources which has remained under the man made lake since the dam was completed in 1966. Some estimates have valued the trees at $5billion dollars.

Now that the Canadian Company Triton has started harvesting the valuable trees ,
how much is Ghana Governments and the local people going to get from this valuable
resource?

The technology is quite impressive to say the least.
