Victim Of Beckley Cannot Be Traced

Prosecutors in the case in which occultist medical practitioner, Dr Ram Beckley, is charged with assault and kidnapping, have told the Adjabeng Community Tribunal that the Police cannot trace the class three pupil, whom Dr. Beckley allegedly kidnapped. According to the prosecutors schools are now on vacation and they are therefore finding it difficult to find the girl whose parents reported the alleged kidnapping to the police. The whereabouts of the victim(quote)s stepfather is also not known.

Dr. Beckley who is charged with assaulting and kidnapping the girl has pleaded not guilty. Exhibits including human skulls, blood and meat found in the accused person(quote)s premises have been submitted to the Nogouchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research for examination.

But the prosecutors say there’s no evidence of bloodstains on the school uniforms, braziers and panties found on the premises of the accused. Residents of the area had alleged that they found a live crocodile in the house but the prosecutors told the court today that found no such thing. The case has been adjourned to May 20. Dr. Beckley was first arraigned on April 15 and has since been on remand. He was arrested on Saturday, April 13 after Police received a complaint from a parent that he had abducted her daughter. An angry mob set ablaze his residence and property running into millions of cedis at New Gbawe in Accra.
