VOTERS REGISTER

The Electoral Commission has been urged to take a second look at the manner the voters register is re-opened in future. Speaking to newsmen at Adenta after a visit to some registration centres in the Ga North Constituency, the MP for the area, Mr.. S.O. Darko, said not much education was given to the current voters registration exercise throughout the country and this, he said, is evident in the low turnout at the various centres. He, therefore appealed to the Electoral Commission to intensify its educational campaign in future to avoid the present situation. End
