United Cadre Front outlines programme for June 4

Accra, June 3, GNA - The United Cadre Front (UCF) on Wednesday outlined the programme for the climax of this year's June 4 commemoration. The National Chairman of the UCF, Mr P. K Abonie, said Friday, June 4 would be marked by all adherents of the June 4 revolution in the districts and regions.

"As usual there will be the wreath laying ceremony at the Cenotaph at the Flagstaff House in Accra by 0800 hours." "The activities of the day will be climaxed by a rally at the Police Park Tamale, which will be addressed by the Former President, Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings."

A statement issued by Mr Abonie in Accra called on Ghanaians to rededicate themselves to the ideals of probity and accountability, decentralisation and the empowerment of the masses. He said:" These ideals remain relevant and essential for national development and reconstruction under the Better Ghana Agenda.
