UENR: All students should take note of this very important announcement

The Sunyani Traditional Area is by this notice informing all students of the UENR community that the final funeral rites of Nana Yaa Nyamaa II (Queen-mother of the Sunyani Traditional Area) comes off from the 25th February 2020 to 1st March 2020.

Owing to this all students are strictly advised to stay within their hostels during the said period after lectures mostly in the evenings.

Outings and activities of all forms should be avoided during this period.

It is expected that all business activities (Public and Private) including Banks cease on the Friday 28th February 2020 except for those providing essential services such as hospitals, hotels, restaurants, taxis and police stations.

NB: Under no circumstance should anyone make any attempt to take videos or pictures of the Queen-mother.

Items such as jewels and watches are not allowed to be worn
