Ticket to heaven cost 5 million cedis

Prophet Peter Anamoah, the founder of Machaira Community Centre (MCC) who sometime last month stirred controversy in the country when he prophesized that the end time as God promised in the Holy Bible has come and it would be in November this year is in the news again.
This time around, prophet Anamoah is not only prophesizing heaven but busily using the fear of hell to extort money from some unsuspecting members of the general public with the promise of helping them to go to heaven in November.
The prophet is claiming that since there are classes in heaven, there are also classes to the mode of payment which he is taking as an entry to heaven and it starts from the class of clay which is only GH¢30.
“The other classes we have are iron, brass, silver, gold and diamond and one has to pay 5 million cedis for the diamond class which is the highest”, he said.
Prophet Anamoh revealed that after the announcement of the various classes, many Ghanaians have opted for the diamond class which is 5 million old cedis and they are the ones who would be saved when God comes in November.
“In fact many people are paying the money and it is part of the money that I have used to buy brand new tyres for my car to enable me travel to the Western Region to do the work of God and it is that same money that helped us to organize a conference last week in Accra”, he revealed.
He disclosed to the Ghana Palaver that he would be having a special meeting with those who are paying the money especially the diamond class to let them know what to do before the end time comes in November.
“If you do not pay any money you will not be welcomed at the meeting and the poor is disqualified from attending the meeting that would prepare the people before the time comes”, Prophet Peter Anamoh added.
Commenting on the issue, Prophet Emmanuel Kankam Atta Kakra who is the leader of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for all Freedom Fighters Fellowship said, Prophet Peter Anamoh is a fraudster who should be arrested by the Police and face the full rigours of the law.
He said in an interview with this paper that Prophet Anamoh is collecting money from the unsuspecting members of the general public to satisfy his personal parochial interest and gains but not take anybody to heaven.
Prophet Kankam argued that nobody is aware of the time that the Almighty God would come and Prophet Anamoh is deceiving members of the general public with his supposed November date for the destruction of the world.
“Let me tell you one secret, God is going to use Ghana to free the world from the shackles of the devil and this prophecy would have to be fulfilled. It is therefore not true that he would destroy the world in November and Ghanaians should treat the prophecy of Anamoh with the contempt it deserves”, he said.
According to Prophet Kankam, God is going to expose Prophet Anamoh through a seminar to be held on June 4 this year and that would be the last time he (Prophet Anamoh) will call himself a prophet of God.
“God is not going to kill Prophet Anamoh but he will expose him for the whole world to see his lies after our seminar on June 4 and he is going to leave the pastoral work”, he prophesized. •
