Songne Yacouba set to hold contract talks with Asante Kotoko

Burkinabe International Sogne Yacouba and his representatives are set to meet with Kumasi Asante Kotoko over his contract as archrivals Hearts of Oak and Ashgold lay in wait to snatch a priceless asset from the Porcupine Warriors.

According to reports from Kumasi-based Fox FM, the star striker’s current deal with the club ends in February 2020 raising a lot of doubt about his future.

What’s more frightening for the Porcupine Warriors is that they could lose their Crown Jewel to sworn rivals Hearts of Oak or regional nemesis Ashgold who are all in hunt for the Burkinabe forward.

It will be recalled that the player and Asante Kotoko had a friction in their relationship to the extent of club C.E.O. George Amoako intimating the club does not need the services of Yacouba but the broken relationship has been mended with both parties seemingly happy.
