Shame on Prof Mills, you should have resigned - Govt Spokesperson

The Government Spokesperson, Mr. Kwabena Agyapong, has blamed Prof. J. E. Atta Mills for his inability to act and stop the transaction on the $22m Quality Grain project, when it became manifest that the promoter of the project, was out to dupe the nation.

According to him, Prof. Mills should have acted to stop the African American woman in view of the fantastic demands in hard currency she was continuously making on the government of the NDC in which he, Atta-Mills, was the Number Two man and the Head of Economic Management Team.

Mr. Agyapong made the comments in an exclusive interview with the ?Daily Guide? last Friday over Prof. Mills? call on the three top government officials, the Senior Minister, Mr. J. H. Mensah, Hon. Yaw Osafo Maafo, Minister of Finance and Dr. Paul Acquah, Governor of the BOG, to resign from office in view of the botched $1bn IFC loan to Ghana.
