Ron Kenoly: Africa must ditch the poverty mindset

Renowned African American Christian praise and worship Leader, Ron Kenoly, says Africa must do away with its poverty mentality.

Kenoly told Journalists in Accra that the poverty mindset of Africans is hindering the Continent’s development.

He arrived in Accra Thursday night ahead of the ‘Africa Worships with Sonnie Badu’ concert scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium Saturday.

Answering questions from a journalist about why the concert wasn’t for free, Dr. Kenoly said: “every blessing cost somebody something and so we in Southern Saharan Africa, we have to come out of the poverty mentality”.

According to him, “we should expect to pay for things…because everything that is of any meaning or good, is worth paying for”.
