The Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Daniel Bugre Naabu is appealing to well-meaning Ghanaians, especially students in the Second cycle and tertiary institution across the region, to take advantage of the ongoing Limited Registration Exercise and get enrolled onto the country’s electoral register.

This, according to him, will afford them the opportunity to exercise their franchise by making a decision to decide on the future of the country during the November 7 polls.

A statement signed by the outspoken Northern Regional Chairman and copied to ultimate1069.com made a passionate appeal to the people of the Northern Region to come out and register since the number of days given are not enough and urged them not to wait for the last days.

He also appealed to all students to vote massively for the NPP and Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo to salvage the country from the crisis the NDC and John Mahama had plunged the country into.

According to the statement, Ghanaians would recall that the NDC during the 2012 electioneering period promised Ghanaians quality education, but all can attest that the promise has become a mirage.

He said the country's educational system has since witnessed dwindling educational standards over the years; from leakage of examination papers to poor performance of students and pupils in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) respectively.

On the outcome of the registration exercise, the statement said the process has been progressively smooth even though there are some pockets of issues in some of the centers which the party will deal with.
