Parliamentary delegation from Virginia arrives

A six- member Parliamentary delegation from the Virgin Island are in the country to interact with their counterparts in Ghana.

The delegation,led by Mr. Alvin Christopher, Deputy Minister of Communication and Works, told newsmen on arrival that the visit is the first ever to Ghana and they would use the opportunity to study Ghana's parliamentary procedures.

He said his country is endowed with rich tourism resources and experience which they could share with Ghana.

The delegation will call on the Speaker of Parliament and the Minister of Presidential Affairs. They will lay a wreath at the Kwame Nkrumah Moseulium.

They were met on arrival by the Clerk of Parliament, Rex Owusu-Ansah.
