Parents Withdrawing Kids from Lamptey Mills

Fall-outs from the GROOM-AND-MUNCH tactic exhibited by GREAT LAMPTEY MILLS proprietor Enoch Teye Lamptey Mills aka Mr. TEE, has resulted in mass withdrawals of wards from the School by parents, THE SUN can state emphatically today.

Checks by THE SUN news hounds have it that his schools at both the Zongo Junction in Accra and Kasoa in the Central region have experienced mass withdrawals of wards of parents who want to play safe, so they do not TEMPT THE CAT because he cannot be trusted with BABYSITTING THE MOUSE.

The proprietor had taken a cue form that age-old folkloric figurative language that says, whoever rears chicken need not travel far enough to fetch eggs elsewhere for breakfast, and daringly went ahead to impregnate a 16-year-old in one of his schools.

Not long ago however, acting on prompting from a taxi driver THE SUN had the story hot from the coal pot and confronted Mr. Lamptey Mills on his cell phone. Very much against the dictates of common sense, Mr. Tee went into one of those tantrums barking and swearing hell all in a fit of stammer.

Unknown to him and as is the style of the paper, it dispatched its news hounds to GBEGBEYISE, and Accra suburb just where former juvenile goalkeeping great Ali Jaraah lives just to survey the area and book a meeting with the victim. Well, the rest has cascaded into history with the braking of the story ever since then.

But when THE SUN posed the STAR QUESTION why he should impregnate his school pupil of just 16 years who is young enough to pass for his grand daughter, Mr. Tee told the paper “you people are playing with the tail of a sleeping lion”, he angrily returned fire with the delivery of this 11-lettered sentence amidst a fit of stammer that appeared to have choked him such that, he must have reached for a glass of water afterwards.

Last week when THE SUN learned that parents of wards in the school had been so embarrassed they were withdrawing their wards from LAMPTEY MILLS schools, the paper’s news hounds were dispatched to go and find out just how the state of affairs was playing out.

One parent by name Theophilus Boafo who had three wards in the Zongo Junction branch of the school who claimed he was first attracted to the school by courses that do not exist elsewhere told THE SUN that, he could no more take the weight of bantering from his friends over the disgraceful publications of the sordid act perpetrated on the poor girl, and so had turned up to withdraw all three kids from the school.

“Only a careless parent will continue to keep his children in such a school when it is obvious Mr. Tee cannot be entrusted with the upkeep of pupils of the ilk of teenagers as he has demonstrated with this particular case. According to Mr. Boafo scores of other parents were also in the process of withdrawing their wards just to play safe from the sexual escapades of a man on the loose with teenage preys all over.

But just as the court granted the unfortunate girl’s family’s wish to thrash the issue at home, human rights activists have drawn daggers, desirous of getting Mr. Tee face the full rigours of the law despite the claim of preparing to marry the poor victim.

Even the Ghana Education Service which has oversight responsibility over the schools have joined the fray to get Lamptey Mills off the business of training kids because, it seems obvious that he is a terrible example of a man who should hold the cane and the chalk to bring discipline to school pupils: females of teenage dispositions among the number.
