The 74th birthday dinner of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II was a splendid event, held on Monday night, May 6, 2024, at the Silver Jubilee Hall within the Manhyia Palace, situated in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region.

A video, captured and shared by GTV Ghana on X (formerly known as Twitter), highlighted the moment when Otumfuo and his wife, Lady Julia, graced the dance floor, elegantly moving to the rhythm of 'Woma Menka Bi' by Pat Thomas.

The festive atmosphere intensified when President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and his wife, Samira Bawumia, joined the dance, following an invitation from the MC.

A grand dinner was hosted in honour of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to mark his 74th birthday. Dignitaries, members of royal families, and distinguished guests convened at the Jubilee Hall to commemorate the king's milestone.

The gathering was graced by notable figures including the former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings alongside her son Kimathi Rawlings; the CEO of Despite Group, Osei Kwame Despite; and the CEO of Angel Broadcasting Network, Dr. Kwaku Oteng.

Also present were the incumbent Chief of Staff, royals from various regions, and prominent diplomats.

The Ga Mantse, honoured as the Asantehene's special guest, was among the esteemed attendees.
