Oti happy with Tetteh's call-up

Head of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Technical Directorate, Francis Oti Akenteng, has lauded the invitation of Samuel Tetteh of West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) in the 23-man squad of the Black Stars.

Avram Grant included the WAFA midfielder to his 23-man squad for next week’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Comoros.

The 19-year-old has been consistent for the junior national teams this year having featured for the Black Satellites, Black Meteors and the local Black Stars.

“We are all elated at his inclusion in the squad. I am confident he will make an impact if he is given the opportunity to be in the starting eleven.
“I am hoping he will live up to expectation and fulfill the expectations that Ghanaians are yearning for.” coach Akenten noted.

Akenteng added that Tetteh’s invitation to the team is a testimony that Avram Grant is monitoring the local scene and call on the need for all to believe he will deliver as the coach the local Black Stars.
