Officiating fees for colts too high - Leanier Addy

Black Queens Management Committee Chairperson, Madam Leanier Addy proposed during the Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association that the amount of officiating fees charged at the Colts Football levels must be reduced.

Addy acknowledged that the bedrock of every countrys football is the youth football as host of talents seen playing for the national teams comes from the Colts level.

The former Black Queens player and now Executive Committee member, reiterated that a club like Paga Youth cant pay an officiating fee of Ghc50, a club in Greater Accra can pay.

She therefore called for a consideration of the amount of officiating g fees paid by clubs at different levels.

There must be a review of the officiating fees for clubs at different levels of the competition. We must consider regional balance too in that regard to encourage more clubs to compete, Leanier said.

Madam Addy also proposed the re-introduction of the sports festival competitions as clubs coming from all quarters comes together to exhibit their respective budding skills.
