Nunoo Mensah blames media

The president of the Ghana Weightlifting Federation, Ben Nunoo Mensah has criticised the media for giving little attention to other sports which has affected sponsorship.

“We need to be doing educative programmes on our radio and create a good image for the various disciplines and package them well for public interest. I think there have been too many negativity and insults on our radios.

“Eventually if we don’t package our sports well we will not get anybody who will be associated with it,” he told Starr Sports.

The former SWAG personality of the year was the chairman for Team Ghana’s sponsorship committee for the 2015 All Africa Games in Brazzaville.
