Nujoma Visits Ghana

His Excellency Dr. Sam Nujoma, President of the Republic of Namibia will arrive in Accra on Friday, the 25th of June, 2004 for a three day state visit to Ghana.

The visit is at the invitation of President John Agyekum Kufuor. President Sam Nujoma would be accompanied by senior members of his government and would be met on arrival by H.E. President J.A. Kufour.

The two leaders and their delegations would hold bilateral talks on political, economic and other issues of mutual concern to both countries. During the visit a state banquet by President Kufuor will be held for President Nujoma. President Nujoma is scheduled to visit the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and other places of historical significance.

President Nujoma is expected to depart for home on Sunday the 27th of June 2004.
