No amount of rebranding can make Mahama a better choice – Akufo-Addo's lawyer

The President of Ghana’s Attorney, Kow Essuman has reminded Ghanaians that no matter the rebranding the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will undertake on John Dramani Mahama, he can never be a better option as president of Ghana.

He is of the view that John Dramani Mahama represents the past that was overwhelmingly rejected in 2016 and 2020.

Therefore, he can never be a better choice going into 2024 when the country is focusing on building its future.

Essuman believes that Bawumia is the candidate of the youth and the candidate of innovation and should therefore be the choice of the teeming youth of the country.

His post shared via X read: “When the future calls, you answer. This year’s election isn’t just a choice; it’s a decision between the past (Mahama) and the future (Bawumia).

"Ghanaians have already experienced the past, and their overwhelming rejection in 2016 and again in 2020 speaks volumes. No amount of rebranding can turn that past into a better choice than a future of hope and prosperity.

"That’s why Bawumia is the candidate of the youth and the candidate of innovation. So, register to vote now and on 7 December 2024, cast your ballot for the future. Let’s leave the past behind, one last time! #Bawumia2024 #ItIsPossible,“ the post concluded.
