NUGS to organise Tek Smartest Challenge on Feb.10

The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) in partnership with Ultimate FM will be organising Tek Smartest on February 10, 2017 at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.

The Tek Smartest Challenge which will be hosted by EIB’s Kafui Dey is an academic game designed to enable students solve problems accurately under pressure and unite the student front.

Three halls will be competing in the smartest stage and two halls will remain in the survival stage, later two halls will be knocked out in the challenge stage, remaining the winner.

Survival stage:

Students will be given 15 minutes to answer 35 fastest finger type of questions, a hall gets a point depending on the number of answers it may get.

Questions will revolve around current affairs in Ghana, history of KNUST, general knowledge questions (eg: capital of Uganda).
The competing halls will also be required to answer puzzles and brain teaser questions.

The wining hall becomes the smartest hall whereas the smartest individual may be determined. The second and Third position will receive prizes.
20 minutes will be allotted for each stage.

Audience would be offered the opportunity to participate in answering questions, where they will receive instant giveaways from sponsors.
There will be performances by poet Laureate Eugene Marfo, RNA Magicians and Perez Muzik.
