NDC will provide amenities despite opposition criticisms

Tikobo No. 1 (W/R), Oct. 6, GNA - Threats, insults and criticisms by opposition parties will not rpt not deter the National Democratic Council government from providing the necessary social amenities for all Ghanaians.

This assurance was given at two separate forums by Mr Jacob Baba, Deputy National General Secretary, at Tikobo No.1 and Bokwa as part of an outreach programme to branches of the party throughout the country.

He said the government was following a programme and no amount of attacks would let it go off its agenda. Mr Baba said the construction of schools, roads and extension of electricity were part of the programme.

He commended the executives of the Jomoro constituency for their good leadership, saying they are the best organised in the Western Region..

Miss Sarah Yeboah, deputy National Secretary, said the government has maintained the producer price of cocoa despite the low price in the world market.

She asked supporters to close their ranks and campaign vigorously. Chiefs who spoke at the forums thanked the government for extending electricity to their towns.
